Conferences We Attend
Internationally, members of the team attend:
- International Conference on Frontotemporal Dementias (ICFTD) – this is the main meeting for FTD researchers and occurs every 2 years.
- Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) – this is the largest dementia research meeting and occurs annually – there is now a pre-conference meeting on FTD every year
- International Conference on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases (ADPD) – this is a large neurodegenerative diseases meeting and occurs every 2 years.

In light of the current Covid-19 outbreak many of the meetings and conferences we would normally attend have been cancelled. However, some are happening virtually and we will keep you updated with any new research.
The team will attend the virtual FTD Professional Interest Association Day in July 2020. At this meeting, Mica will present her work on synaptic PET imaging, and Aitana will present her work on lipid mediators in CSF.
