Amelia is a first-year PhD student, investigating cognitive and behavioural changes in familial frontotemporal dementia (FTD) using digital health technologies. Her research utilises wearable devices, cognitive assessment apps, and speech analysis technology to identify early changes in at-risk individuals.
Alongside her research, she is a member of the GENFI digital team, leads the social media channels for FTDtalk, and co-manages collaborations with FTD patient advocacy groups.
Amelia joined the GENFI team in June 2024 as the UCL Study Coordinator, where she coordinated and facilitated participant research visits. She holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Reading and an MSc in Clinical Neurodevelopmental Sciences from King’s College London.
