Toya joined the team in September 2025 as the UCL GENFI Study Coordinator, overseeing research visits and managing the collection of cognitive, clinical, and behavioural participant data.
Alongside her coordinator role, Toya’s research focuses on composite scoring to detect gene-specific patterns of cognition in familial frontotemporal dementia (FTD). She is also developing threshold-based models to identify individuals at risk of clinical conversion.
Toya holds a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Bristol.
